Simple yet profound insights...
Introduction
As a parent, a single mom of one, my heart goes out to men and women who are striving to be "perfect" or laboring to just get by as decent parents (whether single or married). I don't have all the answers, and in all the paperwork that was handed to me at the hospital there was no "how to" book for raising my child. What I do have are awesome wisdom nuggets that God provided along the way: insights, tools and guidance that I would have been lost without. I especially could not have been (or continue to be) a decent parent without being open to listening and learning from others—married, single, divorced, Christian and non-Christian—whomever God used, whenever He chose to use them. I pray that these nuggets minister to your core and bring a renewed sense of hope for productive parenting.

Raise your children to think with the mind of Christ even before they understand who Christ is.

Incorporate scripture into casual talk, when correcting behavior and giving advice, without necessarily quoting it. Let the focus be on Truth rather than where to find it in the Bible.
Spiritual Nugget 22
Recite declarations of inheritance and sonship, some of which are listed in the Appendix along with their scriptural references. Say them together. Memorize them one at a time and find ways to casually use them in everyday conversation.
